Figures of extreme poverty have since sky rocketed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing impacts of conflicts, and climate change. Across the world, underprivileged are Khalsa Aid works to alleviate the daily stressors of those living in critical poverty through various initiatives.
Four UK-contracted members of Khalsa Aid International's India Chapter recently resigned following the implementation of enhanced audits, which uncovered serious concerns including undisclosed conflicts of interest and resistance to necessary corrective actions during flood relief efforts in Panjab. The organization took immediate action to protect the integrity of aid. While the departing individuals made public allegations, Khalsa Aid maintains that these statements are intended to divert attention from their own misconduct and remains steadfastly committed to delivering transparent and accountable aid to the people of Panjab.
